On September 2011, SMSL released a new model of SA-S1 & SA-S3, the different between the old model and the new model is that, the new model is come with Air-coils, the Air-coils is a red parts inside the amplifier, both SA-S1 & SA-S3 have four part of Air-coils.
In this new model of SA-S1 & SA-S3, they all come with three colors, silver, black & golden. Golden is a newly added color.

Since this amplifier like other SMSL T-Amp is BTL output, that is to negative side of speaker out is not public grounded (the two speakers cable must independent connect, no grounding together), we must strictly in accordance with the marking of plus or minus cable connection, this T amp is not recommend for car or bike use, if the DC volts input higher than 14V or we may damage IC.
SA-S1, SA-S3 have three panel color, one is silver, one is black and the other one is golden, please mention it when you purchase.
